Rental Requirements
Interested in applying to rent a property with MAP Properties? Please review the rental requirements and minimum standards here before you begin the application process.
Each occupant 18 years of age and older must complete a separate application.
A copy of a valid government-issued photo identification will need to be uploaded. A valid Social Security number or its equivalent is also required on the application.
A minimum two years of previous rental history is required. Landlord references are reviewed from previous 3 addresses.
Two months of pay stubs or most recent tax returns/W-2’s will need to be uploaded. In some cases, bank statements can be used to verify income. Combined monthly income of all occupants must total at least 2.5x monthly rent.
A copy of your most recent bank deposit statement showing sufficient funds for the security deposit and 1st month's rent will need to be uploaded. The security deposit is typically equal to one month's rent.
Pets are considered on a case by case basis with an additional pet deposit up to $500. Additionally, pet insurance may be required for certain pets.
IMPORTANT: All applicants must meet certain financial and rental qualifications. Applications are reviewed using several factors, including income, credit history, debt-to-income ratio, collections, references, and other relevant information. Approval is not based on credit (FICO) score alone. In some cases, applicants who do not fully meet the requirements may still qualify with a co-signer or guarantor.
Applications will continue to be accepted until a lease has been signed. Submitting an application or receiving approval does not guarantee the property will be reserved. Another applicant may be selected based on overall qualifications and timing.
Please note: Applications cannot be processed until all required forms and supporting documents have been submitted.
